Here is my review of the hair mask by Garnier Fructis. It is one of the hair masks in the Garnier Whole Blends collection. I have seen these in hair tutorials online outside of the U.S.A, but have yet to see one in the U.S.A.
It has the smell of synthetic creme (candellila wax is one of the top ingredients) and it is verrrrryyy thick! When you hold the product upside down without the lid on, the product stays put. When you apply the product through the hair, it really doesn't detangle the hair at all. I detangled my hair before hand with a conditioner that was slippery and light-weight. Then afterwards, I used my hands in the form of a "prayer" and smoothed the mask through my hair. I then let it sit in my hair for 10 minutes and covered it with a plastic cap and applied heat (in the form of a blow dryer). Then I rinsed the product out of my hair with luke warm/cool water.
Final Effect on Hair (F.E.H) : My hair didn't feel conditioned, and not very soft. If I hadn't detangled my hair beforehand, it would have still been quite tangled and knotted after rinsing the mask out (I tried it beforehand without detangling my hair). There is no lingering smell of the product in the hair after you rinse it out, which may or may not be a good thing. Overall, it was not a very effective mask for me and I probably won't repurchase it.
Have you tried this hair mask? If so, let me know how it worked for you and whether it worked for you or not
